What is the purpose of Ultraguard Water Mist?
The main purpose of the Ultraguard Water Mist is to suppress and control fires at an early stage to allow the vulnerable and elderly more time to evacuate and for the emergency services to have more time to arrive before the fire expands.
How does the Ultraguard Water Mist system work?
There are two multi-sensor detectors on the Ultraguard Water Mist system that can be fitted in different rooms depending on your needs. In the event of a fire, any smoke in the optical smoke chamber or a rapid increase in temperature in a given room will alert the system and activate the Ultraguard Water Mist.
How is the Ultraguard Water Mist system activated?
Once activated through the two sensors, an alarm will sound and a fine mist will be discharged from the system. This allows time for anyone on the property to evacuate and creates a survivable environment by reducing the temperature of the room and carbon monoxide levels.
